Lilly's Commitment to Research

In 1961 and 1963, Lilly made its first cancer drugs. These drugs helped treat different types of cancer, such as breast cancer, prostate cancer, leukemia (cancer of the blood), and lymphoma (cancer of the immune system). Since then, we have continued to look for new treatments. Lilly bought a company called Loxo Oncology to help make more medicines for people with cancer.
