Key Requirements

Clinical trials have inclusion and exclusion requirements to determine which individuals qualify for participation. Listed below are key requirements for this clinical trial, but there may be additional requirements to qualify.

Participants Must:

  • Have obesity or overweight

  • Have chronic kidney disease

  • Half of participants must have type 2 diabetes and half of participants must not have type 2 diabetes

Participants Must Not:

  • Have a history of diabetic eye diseases

  • Have gained weight within 90 days before study

  • Have a history of unstable or severe kidney disease
