Key Requirements

Participants Must:

  • Have ulcerative colitis (chronic inflammation)

  • Have bowel urgency

  • Had a colonoscopy completed within 24 months prior to study start.

Participants Must Not:

  • Crohn’s disease

  • Inflammatory bowel disease unclassified

  • Disease of the rectum

  • Inherited immunodeficiency syndrome
