A Study of Retatrutide (LY3437943) in Participants Who Have Obesity or Overweight (TRIUMPH-1)

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of retatrutide in participants who have obesity or overweight (J1I-MC-GZBJ master protocol) including subsets of participants who have knee osteoarthritis (OA) (J1I-MC-GOA1) or who have obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) (J1I-MC-GSA1).

Key Requirements

Clinical trials have inclusion and exclusion requirements to determine which individuals qualify for participation. Listed below are key requirements for this clinical trial, but there may be additional requirements to qualify.

Participants Must:

  • Have excess weight

  • Have a history of at least 1 self-reported unsuccessful dietary effort to reduce body weight

Participants Must Not:

  • Have a self-reported or documented change in body weight >11 pounds within 90 days before screening

  • Have taken weight loss drugs, including over-the-counter medications, within 90 days before screening

  • Have a prior or planned surgical treatment for obesity

  • Have Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, or any other type of diabetes

  • Have family or personal history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or multiple endocrine neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN-2)

  • Have had pancreatitis
