The main purpose of this study is to evaluate the efficacy and safety of retatrutide once weekly in participants who have obesity or are overweight and have osteoarthritis of the knee.

Key Requirements

Clinical trials have inclusion and exclusion requirements to determine which individuals qualify for participation. Listed below are key requirements for this clinical trial, but there may be additional requirements to qualify.

Participants Must:

  • Have excess weight

  • Have a history of at least 1 self-reported unsuccessful dietary effort to reduce body weight

Participants Must Not:

  • Have had a change in body weight greater than 11 pounds within 90 days

  • Have prior joint replacement in the index knee

  • Have had injections or other procedures for knee pain within 6 months

  • Have joint disease in the index knee other than osteoarthritis

  • Have taken weight loss drugs within 90 days

  • Have or are planning a surgical treatment for excess weight

  • Have Type 1 Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes, or any other type of diabetes
