The main purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of retatrutide on renal function in participants with overweight or obesity and chronic kidney disease (CKD), with or without Type 2 Diabetes (T2D).

Key Requirements

Clinical trials have inclusion and exclusion requirements to determine which individuals qualify for participation. Listed below are key requirements for this clinical trial, but there may be additional requirements to qualify.

Participants Must:

  • Be overweight

  • Have no Type 2 diabetes or has Type 2 diabetes and treated with diet and exercise only with stable doses of up to 3 oral diabetic medications

  • Have been diagnosed with CKD

Participants Must Not:

  • Have a change in body weight greater than 11 pounds

  • Have Type 1 Diabetes

  • Have acute or chronic hepatitis

  • Have a history of cancer within 5 years before screening
